 Belmont'sDancing! North and South With March Madness in full swing, the Belmont Bruins will meet the Georgetown Hoyas in NCAA first-round action Thursday in Winston-Salem, N.C. Belmont, a 15-seed, captured a berth in the NCAA for the second straight year with a win over East Tennessee State in the A-Sun Tournament. The Hoyas finished the regular season at No. 9 nationally and won a Big East-record seventh tournament title. The Bruins women’s team won their first ever conference championship, making it a sweep against ETSU and earning an NCAA slot for the first time ever.The women will play University of Georgia in Minneapolis on Saturday.
