Belmont celebrates spring with annual SAPB Block Party

Nothing says spring at Belmont like the scent of fresh squeezed lemonade and cotton candy and the sporadic crash of a cymbal with a bandana tied to it. Oh, and did someone say free food?

SAPB Block Party

Students, families, children and staff celebrated in true Belmont fashion with a day of free live music and festivities for SAPB’s Block Party on the South Lawn on Friday.

The lineup featured Belmont bands Say Kids and Parrotfish with local band Arlie headlining.

Activities included two different bounce houses, cornhole, bubble making and airbrush tattoos. Visitors snacked on handcrafted lemonades, snow cones, corn dogs and cotton candy.
