A series of road closures began this weekend and will continue off and on for the next year around the Wedgewood Academic Center construction site.
Starting on Sat. Oct. 13, the North Garage alley was closed along with 15th Ave. S. from 6 to 9 a.m. for concrete pouring of the Wedgewood building parking garage.
The alley will reopen Tuesday evening.
For the next 10 to 12 months, parts of 15th Avenue will be closed at least once a week starting at 4 a.m. to continue the concrete pouring for the Wedgewood building’s parking garage.
The university stated that they “will seek to minimize any adverse impact from these operations and will inform neighbors, students and employees a few days in advance of each road closure.”
