Popular business consultant Joe Calloway will serve as executive in residence for Belmont’s Center for Entrepreneurship this academic year, the Office of Communications announced Tuesday.
Calloway is the author of six books and has worked with businesses around the world as a consultant for performance improvement for 30 years. His clients range from small firms to the likes of Coca Cola and American Express.
As executive in residence for the Center for Entrepreneurship, he will work directly with entrepreneurship students and with the Accelerator and Hatchery programs for business, according to the Office of Communications press release.
“Belmont University has always been a source of new thinking and ideas,” Calloway said. “In my work with entrepreneurs, I’ve seen that success is driven by a passion for new ideas and a constant drive to take what works and make it better. This is what I hope to encourage and develop in students in bringing them some of the best thinking from the entrepreneurial marketplace.”
