Suzanna Stapler is a marketing and entrepreneurship major and tennis player from Atlanta, Ga.
Stapler is an explorer and loves trying new things whether its abroad or in Nashville.
She has been to countries including England, Scotland, Italy and France.
Stapler is always happy to eat Mexican food or grab coffee at some of her favorite Nashville shops like Edgehill or Eighth and Roast.
But what really drives Stapler is her love for tennis and her work ethic, she said.
“I grew up in a family of really hard workers. Everyone’s an overachiever in the family. If I have the capability of doing something well, then I should be doing it to that limit. I feel that God has called us to pursue excellence in what we do, and that’s what I try to do.”
At Belmont, Stapler displays her hard work on the court as she plays both singles and doubles for the team. But, Stapler prefers singles.
“In doubles, I always feel like I’m going to let someone down. With singles, you get out there, concentrate and do your job. You’re responsible, but you have to figure it out on your own.”
Overall, Stapler has enjoyed competing and getting to know the girls on her team, she said.
