Meet the new Bruins: Niki Clements

Freshman Niki Clements of  Belmont University’s women’s soccer believes playing for the Bruins means giving 110 percent all the time.

The Pennsylvania native started playing soccer at age 5 or 6 and is all about dedication.

“Soccer is something I’ve done my whole life. I’ve put a lot of time and focus towards it,” said Clements.

Clements credits her coaches for helping her grow and for getting her where she is now.

“I want to make my previous coaches proud this year,” said Clements.

Clements also finds support from the strength of the Belmont Bruins’ bond.

“You spend so much time together that you turn into family,” said Clements.

Besides the closeness of the women’s team, Clements loves how well everyone at Belmont gets along.

“There are so many different personalities here. Everyone is so nice to each other,” said Clements.
