A male suspect fled the scene following a car accident near Ashwood Avenue and Belmont Boulevard on Tuesday morning.
The suspect was reported to be armed, and as of 11:24 a.m., Metro police were still searching for the suspect, according to an email from campus security.
As of 11:50 a.m. Campus Security reported there was no known threat, but they will continue to monitor the situation on the south side of campus, according to the email.
Campus Security described the suspect to be a black male in his 20s, wearing jeans and shirtless. The suspect may have been involved in a “domestic situation,” according to the email.
Campus Security will continue to update students as needed.
