Belmont’s Student Government Association confirmed the appointment of nine new congress members at its weekly meeting Monday.
The organization also passed a resolution to reconsider the closing hours of core academic buildings on campus including Wedgewood Academic Center and McWhorter.
Senior Alex Marsh, policy review chair, was appointed election commissioner at the meeting as well. Elections will be held later in the spring semester.
The next meeting will be held Feb. 15.
