While his 700th career win happened on the road last weekend, Belmont men’s basketball supporters still wanted to show their appreciation for Bruins coach Rick Byrd.
Fans celebrated Byrd’s historic win last night with commemorative t-shirts and a short pre-game ceremony for the Belmont legend.
The Bruins would produce a 72-67 comeback victory over the visiting UT Martin Skyhawks to earn Byrd win No. 701.
