The Belmont Vision won three awards given by the Tennessee AP Broadcasters and Media Editors for its work in 2016.
Four members of the Belmont Vision staff attended the Tennessee AP College Awards on April 8.
The awards, held at Vanderbilt University, acknowledged the work from college media sources in Tennessee for their coverage in radio, television, newspaper and online areas. A total of 11 colleges from around Tennessee submitted work to be judged.
The Vision staff won awards in the following categories:
Riley Wallace and Zach Gilchriest – third, online ongoing coverage
Taylor Andrews – first, online feature story
As well as placing in individual categories, the Belmont Vision placed third for college media website.
