Belmont Women's Basketball Adds Pepperdine Center from Transfer Portal

Belmont Women’s Basketball has added another transfer to its roster for the 2025-2026 season. 

Junior center KK Brodie announced that she is committing to playing for the Bruins next season, according to her Instagram post Sunday afternoon. 

She’s transferring to Belmont after two years at Pepperdine University. Last season with the Waves, she averaged 1.5 points and 2.1 rebounds. 

Strickland was a McDonald’s All-American nominee and two-time all-state and all-district player in high school.

Brodie will join transfer Kendal Strickland along with the rest of the returning roster that is losing key starters to graduation, including Tuti Jones, Kendal Cheesman and Kendall Holmes among others.
