Breaking: Jonathan Pierre Enters the Transfer Portal

A week after two men’s basketball players entered the transfer portal, another Bruin joined the portal on Tuesday.
Senior forward Jonathan Pierre has decided to enter the transfer portal, ESPN’s Jeff Borzello said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Pierre averaged 13.4 points and 6.3 rebounds for the Bruins in 28 starts last season. He was also named to the All-MVC First Team and the MVC All-Newcomer Team.
Pierre previously played his freshman and sophomore years at Nova Southeastern before transferring to the University of Memphis in his junior year.
Belmont fans now have to wait and see how head coach Casey Alexander will revamp the offense with his leading scorer potentially leaving the program.
