The Vision has teamed up with leaders from organizations across campus to bring you weekly Spotify playlists from students and staff.
For today’s installment, Belmont CHAARG Ambassador Victoria Finlay shared 10 of their favorite songs with the Vision.
I listen to music all day, so creating a different playlist for different occasions can become tiring. That being said, I am the least musically inclined person I know, so for me, music is all about reflecting my mood. I love this playlist because it’s the perfect mix! It works for car rides, working out or doing homework!
“Most Girls” — Haley Steinfeld
I love this song because it’s so empowering and promotes individuality!
“Lay It On Me” — Vance Joy
I could listen to Vance Joy’s voice all day, everyday.
“Lights Down Low” — MAX
This is one of those songs where you suddenly find yourself tapping your foot, snapping your fingers or just flat out dancing (like me)!
“Reminding Me” — Shawn Hook
I’m a sucker for a good, slow song, but this one has enough rhythm to not completely bum me out.
“Sorry Not Sorry” — Demi Lovato
Such. A. Jam. No further explanation needed.
“Tomorrow Never Came” — Lana Del Ray
Lana should be on every playlist ever. But this song specifically is just amazing!
“Saved” — Khalid
Khalid’s voice is so different and I love the tone it adds to the playlist!
“80’s Films” — Jon Bellion
This is such a feel good song! I’m also very late to the Jon Bellion fan club.
“High Without Your Love” — Loote
This is such a pump-up song, it just makes me want to dance!
“There For You” — Martin Garrix & Troy Sivan
Troy Sivan is what dreams are made of and the beat gets me so amped!
