Friends and fellow sorors in DST shared their favorite memories of Groves and released dozens of red balloons into the sky in her honor.

On Wednesday afternoon, Belmont President Dr. Robert Fisher sent an email to students and faculty detailing the service times for Groves’ funeral.

“I am grateful that we are a community that supports one another in times of joy and times of grief, and I pray that our actions and conversations continue to be filled with compassion as we complete the academic term,” Fisher said.
