Clark continues push for NBA career

The NBA dream is still alive for former Belmont men’s basketball standout Ian Clark.

Clark, despite not having his name was not called during the NBA draft, is slated to participate in two summer leagues. The first league will be in Orlando from July 7-12 and the 2013 OVC co-player of the year will play for the Miami Heat. A day later, Clark will join the Golden State Warriors for the Las Vegas Summer League from July 13-22.

During his time at Belmont the Memphis, Tenn. native became the Bruins’ NCAA era career leader in points (1,920) and three-point field goals (340) while leading Belmont to three consecutive NCAA tournament appearances as well as the program’s highest seed (No. 11 v. Arizona).

This past season, Clark ranked among the NCAA leaders in three-point field goal percentage and goals per game .

All of the NBA Summer Leagues will be carried on NBA TV throughout July.
