Counseling offers extended hours

Belmont student Grace Evans, a sophomore music business major, passed away Wednesday. With permission from her family, university officials informed students around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

In lieu of these events, Belmont Counseling Services and University Ministries have extended their hours and opened their offices at 8 a.m. Thursday morning to accommodate any students’ needs. Counseling Services is located above the cafeteria in the Gabhart Student Center.

In an email from the Office of Communication, officials would like to remind on campus students can contact their Residence Director at any time. The Nashville Crisis Center also has trained counselors available 24/7. The number is (615) 244-7444.
