Belmont President Bob Fisher will be hosting a series of four focus groups with students, Jan. 18-20 regarding “campus culture in regard to sexual orientation.”
An email sent by the office of communications Thursday afternoon said each session will include a maximum of 20 students. The sessions are closed to the media and are “private and confidential.” Students are to RSVP if they are interested in attending.
Fisher “desires to hear a broad sampling of student voices on this issue, to promote civil interaction on this important topic and to take your comments under advisement,” according to the email.
The sessions are not Q&A format. Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness Dr. Paula Gill will facilitate.
Additional sessions will be held with faculty, staff and alumni.
