The monthly Hillsboro Village Art Walk will kick off Thursday at 21st Avenue South in Hillsboro Village at 5 p.m.. The family friendly event is free and includes a variety of entertainment.
“We have had huge success in getting people to come out to the Village this year. It has been a year and a half since we began the Walk. There is always something different to see each time,” said Duncan Ragsdale, event coordinator.
The event showcases local artwork provides changing movies, music, artists, demonstrations, book signings and much more. Monthly themes have included including a Bastille Day event, Luau and Oktoberfest with plans for a Santa theme in December.
The Village Art Walk receptions, shows and events are hosted in most Hillsboro Village shops and restaurants. This event occurs the first Thursday of each month.
