Meet the new Bruin: Gabby Field

Freshman Gabby Field was introduced to soccer through her father and has loved the game ever since.

“He never played but he said it would be fun to do so I tried it out,” said Field. “He was my coach when I started and I fell in love with it.”

Field played high school soccer at Medina Senior High School in Medina, Ohio and helped the varsity team to a district championship in 2013 and a conference championship in 2014.

Field became interested in Belmont because of the atmosphere surrounding Nashville and the women’s soccer team.

“All the people here were so nice, I love the coaching staff, the girls on the team are amazing and it’s in Nashville which is awesome too,” said Field.

When she’s not playing for the Bruins, Field enjoys hanging out with her friends.

Field can be seen at midfield and defense for the Bruins in home games at Rose Park. Catch Field and the rest of the women’s soccer team Sept. 4 against Valparaiso.
