From Windy City to Music City, freshman Sarah Laws is a corporate communications major and plays forward on the women’s soccer team.
She’s been playing soccer since she was 5 years old, and her favorite part about soccer is being a part of a team.
“I just tried a bunch of sports, and soccer was just something I really liked,” said Laws.
Besides being able to play soccer in college, her love for the South brought her to Belmont.
“I just knew I wanted to go south,” said Laws. “I just really like the feel of it.”
So far, her favorite local restaurants are the Pancake Pantry, San Antonio Taco Company and Jackson’s.
“There’s so much to do here, and I love country music,” said Laws.
