Men's Basketball Adds Eastern Washington Guard from Transfer Portal

Belmont’s men’s basketball has added its second guard from the transfer portal.

Junior guard Nic McClain will be joining the Belmont Bruins after playing last season for Eastern Washington, according to a post from his X account.

McClain averaged 10.6 points, 3.8 assists and 3.6 rebounds for the Eagles last season.

He joins transfer guard Isaiah West in the Bruins’ backcourt for the 2025-26 season, giving the team some depth at the position and trying to fill the hole left by the departures of Belmont guards Carter Whitt, Isaiah Walker and Aidan Braccia.
