Casey Alexander's getting the band back together in Manhattan, Kansas.
The Kansas State Wildcats already brought Kerron Johnson over, and now assistant coaches JJ Butler and Luke Smith, director of analytics Bryce Haase and strength coach Lee Scott are set to join their staff for the 2026-27 season.
Additionally, former three-star Belmont commit Devin Hutcherson requested his National Letter of Intent release and has since committed to Kansas State.
The losses don't stop there, 2025-26 Kentucky Mr. Basketball award and Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year winner Jake Feldhaus has requested his NLI release, although he has not committed to another school at this time.
Men's basketball currently has five players intending to enter the transfer portal, six staff members leaving for Kansas State and two of four players in this year's recruiting class have decommitted.
