Belmont's campus remains covered in ice and snow.

The storm caused mass power outages across Davidson County and left Belmont without power for roughly 18 hours.

Though power has returned, the storm toppled trees, downed power lines and froze cars across campus.

Students dealt with long lines for food, fire alarms triggering repeatedly and issues entering dorms due to complications with locks.

Monday and Tuesday have both been declared as administrative days, canceling classes. Snow, ice and cold temperatures remain in the forecast for the remainder of the week.
