Photos: AmericanaFest 2019 Recap

Nashville’s six-day tribute to Americana music closed out Sunday night with a performance from Belmont alumna Brandy Clark at 3rd and Lindsley.

Clark — a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter who has written songs for artists like Kacey Musgraves, Sheryl Crow and Darius Rucker — was just one of the more than 300 artists who performed for AmericanaFest 2019.

Artists of all ages, with styles varying across the entire spectrum of Americana music, performed showcases at venues throughout the city on Tuesday through Sunday.

In addition to catching performances from some of the best in the genre, industry and media professionals also had the opportunity to attend panels, networking events and seminars throughout the week as part of the conference portion of the festival.

The week also included the 18th annual Americana Honors and Awards Show, where winners included John Prine (Album of the Year, Song of the Year), Brandi Carlile (Artist of the Year) and Elvis Costello (Lifetime Achievement Award for Songwriting).
