Select Belmont songwriters took the stage in the Curb Cafe on Wednesday for the February ASCAP Writers’ Night.
The show — produced by Belmont sophomore Brooke Webster — featured Jillian Steele, Patrick Murphy, Emma Place and Annie Dirusso.
The round showcased a great mix of music, from Nashville’s classic country sound to possible future pop hits.
Jillian Steele won the writers’ round and will perform again at the Best of the Best Showcase in April.
