According to a report from USA Today, Ian Clark has signed a two-year deal with the Utah Jazz as stated by Clark’s agent Bill Duffy.
This will not be Clark’s first time at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, as he notched 21 points against Arizona in Belmont’s third consecutive NCAA appearance on March 21.
Clark appealed to several teams, including the Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat and Portland Trail Blazers for his ability to shoot and score, but ultimately chose Utah who offered the best package with immediate playing time.
He was named Vegas NBA Summer League Championship Game MVP Monday night, after scoring 33 points in Golden State’s 91-77 victory over Phoenix.
Clark started all 33 games last season for the Bruins, shooting 45.9 percent from behind the arc, averaging 18.2 points per game.
