Sienna Spiro's International Tour Opens in Nashville

Sienna Spiro opened the “My House Tour” at the Ryman Auditorium on Oct. 13.
The singer’s name has become popular online over the last year, known for her strong vocals on her songs “You Stole the Show” and “Die on this Hill.”
“I’ve seen what an incredible singer [Sienna Spiro] is,” said casual fan and Berklee School of Music alum Kate Brink, in anticipation of the show.
As Spiro’s set began on a 60s-inspired stage setup, her band members took the stage one by one, each doing a little dance.
The show was mellow, alternating between jazzy songs, until Spiro introduced “The Visitor.”
The crowd was deafening as she entered the song’s chorus.
“Say that you love me, say I'm all you need, in the back of my mind, I know I'm temporary,” the crowd boomed.
The audience one-upped themselves with “You Stole the Show.” On the third chorus, Spiro completely stopped singing and listened to the crowd blast her words at her.
Spiro graciously thanked the crowd for attending opening night of her first tour.
Sitting at a piano, she warned she’s still learning how to play the instrument.
“Please excuse me if I f--- up, because I’m not amazing,” she said.
As her piano segment ended, she played some quick piano riffs which had the audience gasping.
“Sometimes I wish you could all see what I see,” she said as she took a photo of the crowd.
She encouraged the audience to sing her most viral hit, “Die on this Hill” with her.
Near the stage, whispers broke out and carried through the crowd. A man got down on one knee, said the famous words, “Will you marry me?” and she said yes.
Spiro handed him the microphone, waiting to hear the story behind this proposal.
“I ran from here all the way to our condo to get the ring,” the man said. “I acted like I had to go to the bathroom.”
“I can’t believe what just happened,” said Spiro.
Closing with “Great Expectations,” Spiro allowed the crowd a final moment to show their love for her music.
She went silent as the chorus started, and the crowd screamed the lyric, “I sing just to know I’m alive” back at her.
The band kept playing the song after Spiro left the stage, and the audience sang the words until the room was light again.
