UM Harvest Party fires up on Saturday

University Ministries invites students, faculty and staff to enjoy the Harvest Party at 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 5 at Winningham Farm.

“Not only is the Harvest Party a chance to relax and have fun, this annual fall event, hosted by University Ministries, offers Belmont students an opportunity for genuine fellowship in a positive, uplifting atmosphere,” said UM assistant Alysia Green.

The Harvest Party, a free event, will include a BBQ dinner followed by s’more roasting around a bonfire. There will also be games and entertainment from a group of Belmont students playing bluegrass music in the back of a pickup-truck.

Although an off-campus event, Winningham Farm is still a part of the Belmont campus community.

“Winningham Farm is one of our trustees, Mr. Maddux’s, home and farm,” Green said.

It is located at 400 St. Blaise Road in Gallatin, Tenn. For more information, be on the lookout for posters around campus or contact Alysia Green in the University Ministries at alysia.green@belmont.edu or (615)-460-6419.
