If opening day is Christmas for Belmont Basketball fans, Meet the Bruins night was the “Black Friday” shopping extravaganza. Fans of all ages were given the opportunity to hear from first year women’s coach Cam Newbauer as well as long-time men’s head coach Rick Byrd, compete in contests with players and watch inter-squad scrimmages.
To cap the night off, players from the men’s team competed in a dunk contest, hailing sophomore Craig Bradshaw as the champion.
