If Cupid strikes you and your beau with the urge to get hitched this Valentines Day, the Belmont Mansion has you covered. The mansion is offering elopement packages starting at two hundred dollars for a fifteen-minute ceremony. The package includes an on-campus wedding either in the mansion or in one of Belmont’s signature gazebos, and the Rev. Brandon Rich will be on hand to officiate the ceremonies.
Couples wishing to get hitched this Valentines Day should plan ahead and arrive at the mansion with a marriage certificate in hand, and a limited guest list; the package only includes seating for up to sixteen guests. Also don’t hold your breath for a stirring rendition of the Wedding March; music is prohibited during the hours of 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Additionally, the alcohol-free policy still applies during the wedding ceremony, so there will be no Champagne toast to celebrate your newly minted nuptials.
