The Belmont women’s basketball team will face No. 5 seed Duke in the first round of the NCAA tournament in Athens, Georgia on Saturday.
The Bruins — making their third consecutive and fourth overall NCAA tournament appearance — earned a No. 12 seed after topping UT Martin in the OVC tournament and earning an automatic spot in the tournament.
The team ended the season with a perfect 18-0 record — the Bruins’ second consecutive undefeated conference record — and the third straight OVC Championship title.
The Blue Devils finished fifth in the Atlantic Coast Conference and ended their season with a 22-8 record.
The game is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday.
