The Belmont women’s basketball team will be taking on No. 4 seed Kentucky in the first round of the 2017 NCAA women’s basketball tournament.
Belmont students, faculty and fans alike gathered in the Beaman Student Center Monday evening to show their support, enjoy the free food and watch the NCAA selection show.
After an undefeated season resulting in winning the Ohio Valley Conference tournament for the second time in a row, the women’s basketball team eagerly awaited to hear when its next game would be.
The game will take place on March 17 in Lexington, Kentucky.
