Nearly two weeks after the transfer portal officially opened, Belmont transfers are settling in.
The biggest news: Drew Scharnowski announced his committment to Duke University, and Jailyn Banks announced her's to the University of Georgia.
Scharnowski, after averaging 10.7 points, six rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game this season for the Bruins, became one of the most coveted names in the portal and lands at a basketball blue blood program.
Meanwhile, Banks, the Bruins' leading scorer each of the last two seasons, lands in the SEC with the Bulldogs.
Even more ex-Bruins have decided where they'll play next season.
Brigham Rogers, who average 7.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in the 2025-26 season, ends up with Belmont rival Murray State.
And Emily La Chappell, who played just seven games for the Bruins this season due to injury, lands at Division III University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The Appleton, Wisconsin native started her career at the University of Marquette, and will return to her home state for her final year of eligibility.
