Belmont is hiring men's basketball's all-time leading scorer as the team's next head coach, according to reports.
The former Bruins star is an assistant coach at Duke University, and will finish coaching the No. 1 seeded team through the remainder of the team's NCAA Tournament run.
He spent time as an assistant coach with the Boston Celtics and Utah Jazz organizations before joining the Blue Devils. This will be his first head coaching position.
As a player, Bradds won two Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year awards and made the All-OVC team three times in four season. He averaged 20 points and 8.4 rebounds his senior season at Belmont.
Turning 32 in April, Bradds will be one of the youngest head coaches in NCAA Division I basketball.
He's been tasked with rebuilding the program following the departure of Casey Alexander and key players.
