The Missouri Valley Conference player of the year is planning to enter the transfer portal, according to his agency ProMondo Sports.

Tyler Lundblade led the nation in 3-point percentage two seasons ago and led the Bruins in scoring this year with 15.6 points per game.

The 6-foot-5-inch 3-point specialist is the first player to announce plans to enter the portal since the departure of Casey Alexander.

His agency said Lundblade will evaluate all of his options leading up to the official portal opening April 7.

There is speculation that Lundblade will follow Alexander to Kansas State, but he is likely to garner attention from many high-major programs.

After time with SMU and TCU, Lundblade broke out after transferring to Belmont. He will have another chance to play at a Power 5 program in the 2026-27 season.

He has one more year of eligibility.
