CMA Country Christmas returns to Belmont

Stellar musicians and notable performers will take the stage as Belmont University hosts the 10th annual CMA Country Christmas event on Wednesday.

Hosted by Belmont alumna Trisha Yearwood, the country Christmas show will be taped in the Curb Event Center, with the arena set up complete with a stage and copious Christmas decorations. Many students will be attending the show as well as volunteering their time and talents, all decked out in their finest holiday attire and jovial Christmas spirit.

Those attending the event can expect a festive evening with holiday cheer and incredible music by artists such as Chris Janson, Tori Kelly, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts and many others, as well as Trisha Yearwood herself. Yearwood takes over as the host of the event following Reba McEntire’s two years as host, and Jennifer Nettles’ seven-year run before her.

The two hour performance will be broadcast on ABC in December, and music from the event will also be released on Apple Music and Spotify.
