Belmont men’s basketball team standout Dylan Windler has been selected as the 46th prospect in Bleacher Report’s “2019 NBA Draft Big Board: Top 50 College Prospects to Watch.”
With this recent recognition, Windler hopes to one day earn his spot on a professional team.
“Eventually, the goal is to play in the NBA at some point, if not overseas on a professional team. I think that’s any college basketball player’s goal after they graduate,” said Windler.
The senior guard has been instrumental in the Bruins’ success. During the 2017 season, Windler earned First Team All-OVC Conference and was three-time OVC Player of the Week, according to the Belmont Athletics website.
Windier’s senior season will help determine where he will play after his collegiate career.
“I don’t think so much as a question of is he going to happen. It’s at what level he will be able to play professionally,” said assistant coach Brian Ayers.
