The people of Africa need help, and almost everyone in the world knows that. Charitable donations help to meet the need, but Barrett Ward wants to take that farther. He started FashionABLE to some of those who are needy to have an avenue to begin to provide for themselves and their families. FashionABLE helps Ethiopian women who were once prostitutes and gives them jobs making scarves. They dye the scarves, weave them and are very proud of what they do.The website is http://livefashionable.com/. There you can watch videos of women’s stories and purchase the scarves online for $22.Though Ward wants people to buy the scarves, he says the best way you can advocate for FashionABLE is to tell your friends.
