Meet the new Bruin: Caleb Corprew

Belmont freshman Caleb Corprew started competing in track and field at a young age and is looking forward to continuing his career at Belmont.

“In middle school, my track coach pretty much decided for me that I was doing hurdles because of my height,” said Corprew. “Over time, I grew a love for it.”

Corprew grew up in Midwest City, Okla., just outside of Oklahoma City.

Corprew chose Belmont because of his impressions of Nashville and the upperclassmen of the track team.

“I felt like they were people I could see myself running with,” said Corprew.

When he has free time, Corprew enjoys playing video games with his friends and keeping up with his siblings back home.

In addition to the hurdles, Corprew can be seen representing Belmont in the 4×100 meter relay and the 4×400 meter relay at track and field events.
