Freshman Hannah Beth Moorhouse began running track at the age of 11 to follow in the footsteps of her older sister.
“I wanted to be just like her, so I joined the team,” said Moorhouse.
The Morristown, Tennessee native is a high jumper for the track team. She comes to Belmont after earning All-State accolades in high school and owns her high school’s record for the high jump event.
She immediately fell in love with Belmont on her visit.
“I love the Christian atmosphere of the school, and I love the coaching staff and my teammates,” said Moorhouse. “From the moment I stepped on Belmont’s campus I knew that I was meant to be here.”
Outside of track Hanna Beth enjoys snowboarding and volunteering at Rocketown.
Catch Moorhouse and the rest of the track and field team at events throughout Spring.
