Meet the new Bruin: Jack Driscoll

Center-back Jack Driscoll, from Columbus, Ohio, is the oldest of three in his family. He can also be seen wearing No. 3 for Belmont University’s soccer team.

One of the contributing factors in his decision to play at Belmont is the program itself.

“I really liked the coaching staff and was excited to be a part of the team,” said Driscoll.

Like others on the team, Driscoll had previous friendships with members of the team from playing in club soccer leagues back home.

Driscoll admires Michael Jordan and cites him as an inspiration although he isn’t a soccer player.

“He was such a good competitor,” said Driscoll.

The season is just beginning and he has high hopes for what is to come.

“I think the team goals are to win as many games as possible and to make the conference tournament, and my personal goals are just to keep improving,” said Driscoll.

Driscoll scored the winning goal and was able to give the Bruins its first win of the season on Aug. 28.

Make sure to come out to Rose Park this season to support No. 3 and the rest of the Bruins.
