Meet the new Bruin: Josh Enoch

Belmont freshman Josh Enoch found his place on the track and field team in his final year of high school.

“I joined my high school track team halfway through my senior year,” said Enoch. “My coach just kinda threw me into long jump.”

Enoch finished fifth in the state in long jump during his senior year of high school.

Enoch grew up in Parkersburg, W. Va. which he describes as a place with a small-town atmosphere.

Enoch was drawn to Belmont through his older brother, who is currently attending Belmont as well.

“I was familiar with the area and I had a level of comfort with him being here,” said Enoch. “It was an easy choice.”

When he has free time, Enoch enjoys cliff jumping at Percy Priest Lake.

Enoch can be seen representing Belmont in the long jump and the 4×100 meter relay at track and field events.
