Checking in at 6 feet 11 inches tall, freshman Seth Adelsperger is listed as the tallest player on the Belmont men’s basketball team.
The center from Peru, Indiana was the valedictorian of his high school and he said he came to Belmont because of the overall culture.
“All the guys on the team, the coaches and just the whole atmosphere. The academics for sure, and Nashville’s just a really great city, too,” said Adelsperger.
When he’s not on the court or in the classroom, Adelsperger might be found on a hiking trail or looking for arrowheads. The hobby was passed down to Adelsperger from his father and grandfather.
“It’s something I’ve always done,” he said.
Catch No. 50 and the rest of the Bruins at their home opener on Nov. 18 against Western Kentucky University.
