Belmont Bruins forward Stephen Bailey started playing soccer at the age of 3 and grew up in the Nashville, Tennessee area.
“I’ve grown up around Belmont,” Bailey said. “I’ve always been around Belmont soccer.”
Regarding his goals for the season, Bailey said he hopes to make the conference tournament and achieve a winning record.
Between running faster than ever at practices, staying in shape and keeping up his energy to finish homework, Bailey also enjoys being a Belmont Bruin off the soccer field, too.
“One of my favorite parts of Belmont is actually the cafe,” said Bailey.
He certainly does have a favorite meal.
“I get burgers almost every day,” Bailey said. “Mr. Antonio is super cool.”
Besides enjoying the food, Bailey said he has become close to his RAs and the girls’ soccer team and found a good sense of community at Belmont.
“People are always smiling and saying hi. Everything at Belmont feels positive,” said Bailey.
