The Belmont men’s basketball team defeated Tennessee Tech 79-67 on Saturday after another stellar performance from senior Dylan Windler.
Windler scored 23 points and had 9 rebounds. He was able to score from everywhere on the court, going 2-4 from the arch and 5-6 from the free throw line. He also worked extremely well in the paint.
The Bruins controlled the game from the start, though it did take some time for players like Windler and sophomore Nick Hopkins to find their sweet spot.
Freshman Nick Muszynski scored 12 points to pave an easier path for the Bruins’ victory.
Sophomore Seth Adelsperger also scored 12 points — one shy of his season high.
With Saturday’s win, the Bruins improved their record to 10-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
Next, Belmont will take on Morehead State on Thursday in the Curb Event Center at 6:30 p.m..
