Men’s basketball defeats Seattle, secures second 2K Classic win

The Belmont men’s basketball team returned to the Curb Event Center Sunday, defeating Seattle 90-77 in the Bruins’ second and final game of the 2K Classic Benefiting Wounded Warriors Project.

Belmont briefly fell behind Seattle late in the first half, but closed the half back in the lead. The Bruins held a close lead over the Skyhawks at the start of the second half, though quickly pulled ahead.

Senior Austin Luke led the Bruins with an impressive 26 points, while junior Dylan Windler led the Bruins with 14 rebounds.

Belmont will return to the Curb Event Center Monday, Nov. 27 at 6:30 p.m. to take on Lipscomb in the annual Battle of the Boulevard.
