Men’s basketball falls to Lipscomb in second Battle of the Boulevard showdown

In a total reversal from last year’s annual Battle of the Boulevard, Lipscomb once again defeated the Bruins on Monday night, this time down the boulevard at Allen Arena.

In the second matchup of the annual rivalry, the Bisons topped the visiting Bruins with a final score of 69-54.

The Bruins were the first to score with a free throw by sophomore center Seth Adelsperger, but the Bisons quickly took the lead and didn’t give it up again.

Junior Kevin McClain led the Bruins with 14 points, and senior Amanze Egekeze led with 10 rebounds.

Juniors Dylan Windler and Mack Mercer also scored in double digits.

The Bruins will return to the Curb Event Center on Wednesday, Dec. 13 to take on Milwaukee at 6:30 p.m..
