The Bruins had another slow start, struggling again from beyond the arc. The Bruins went 4-18 on three-pointers in the first half, causing the team to enter the second half down seven points.

Luckily, the Bruins were able to jump back on top quickly, regaining the lead over the visiting Phoenix with a 9-0 run just four minutes into the second half.

Senior Amanze Egekeze led the Bruins with 21 points, followed by junior Dylan Windler with 20.

Junior Mack Mercer also had a good showing under the basket, putting up 19 of the bench’s 25 points.

The Bruins will return to the Curb Event Center on the Dec. 13 to face Milwaukee, but not before taking another shot against Lipscomb in the Battle of the Boulevard rematch, Monday night at Allen Arena.
