Belmont’s Theatre Department Presents “The Servant of Two Masters"

Belmont University’s Department of Theatre and Dance opens their run of Carlo Goldoni’s “The Servant of Two Masters” on Friday.

The play is about mischievous Truffaldino, who tries to balance the load of working simultaneously for two masters in hopes of getting showered in meals. A plot rampant with hopeless romantic endeavours and ridiculous antics keeps the audience laughing in this modern slapstick rendition of an 18th-century classic comedy.

The play is showing in the Troutt Theater on Belmont Boulevard on Friday at 7:30 p.m, Saturday at 2 and 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m., Monday at 7:30 p.m., Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 2 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct.3 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for regular adults, $5 for alumni or non-Belmont students and free for current Belmont students with a valid ID. Purchase tickets early online. For more ticket information call 615-460-8500.
