The Belmont Bruins women’s basketball team defeated Southern Illinois University Edwardsville at home Wednesday night.
This was the women’s 12th straight win, carrying them to 10-0 in Ohio Valley Conference play.
Junior Kylee Smith led Belmont with 25 points while sophomore Darby Maggard led with seven assists.
The Bruins will hit the road for their next game against OVC rivals Murray State on Saturday. The team will return to the Curb Event Center on Feb. 8 to take on Jacksonville State at 6 p.m.
